AO Recruitment Talk 2026

HKETO Sydney organised a virtual Administrative Officer (AO) recruitment talk for Hong Kong students in Australia and New Zealand on 24 September, providing participants with an opportunity to learn more about career opportunities in the Hong Kong Civil Service and the role and career prospects of AOs.  The Deputy Director of HKETO Sydney, Mr Timothy Chau, introduced the AO Grade and the latest recruitment exercise, including the application process and key information for prospective candidates, as well as the Administrative Service Internship Programme.  He also encouraged students to consider returning to Hong Kong upon graduation to pursue their careers, highlighting Hong Kong’s dynamic and internationally connected professional environment and the diverse opportunities available to young professionals.
